A while back for family night I thought it would be fun if we celebrated each other and gave out awards.
Dad got the award for "Most-Hard-Working-Good-Looking"
Lizzy got the award for "Most Presumptuous"
Momma (me myself and I) was awarded with.... "Not-able-to-recognize-that-a-'1'-is-backwards-until-the-next-day-when-my-husband-realizes-I-actually-didn't-do-this-on-purpose-and-had-to-kindly-let-me-know"?
"Uh, honey?"
"Yeah?"
"You do know that those '1's you are writing there on that paper are backward right?"
...
"... wait... but this is how I made those awards for last night...."
"Yeah... I thought you were just trying to be funny..."
awkward silence....
Anyways, I thought it was a cute idea still.
Pretty easy to make. Just cut them out and sew them together.
And if you have older kids they can help come up with the award titles.
Some fun ones you might like to use:
"Most-tired"
"Has-Completely-Run-Out-Of-Ideas-For-Dinner"
and of course,
"If-you-try-to-eat-an-entire-half-of-a-seven-layer-dip, you-might-just-get-sick"

that's hilarious! i was wondering if you somehow transposed the photos and if that's why the 1's were backwards! hey, mommy's work hard, they're allowed to make mistakes and not notice minor details! ;)
