The mess...

This post is kind of in response to Nicole's Let's Talk  discussion from yesterday.

So often we are able to make our lives and projects look so beautiful and glorified on the great big and bright blogging screen.


But, in reality... I've got dishes to do just like any one.


We just got home from a two week visiting-family vacation 
{it was wonderful, btw}

And the unpacking/reorganizing/feed-the-kids-cereal mode settled in quite quickly.

Oh, and of course, I had to top it all off with a reupholstery project as well:

I think I stepped in yogurt just after taking this picture...
