For Christmas my good friend wanted to make some doll baskets for her daughters. She was kind enought to let me in on the project and I made one for my little girl as well. It was a lot of fun to make the baskets, and I think they turned out nicely. This is the one I made. I found the pattern at Geta's Quilting Studio , and I altered the dimensions a little bit to fit the doll. The hood had to be made up from scratch since there was no pattern for that. I will be attatching it with buttons soon.

Arrr Matey!
He sails on the high seas, through the storm, and onto the couch. The perfect adventuring pal for a little friend. At least that's what he told me. I feel like I've made so many dolls for little girls, I'd like to try a little more for the boy theme as well. And lets face it, pirates and treasure are just so captivating.
