First Giveaway - Ballerina

Welcome to my first giveaway.

A Beautiful Ballerina
She is a little less than 10 inches tall, pink and peach, and antsy to dance around. I really have had a hard time refraining from naming her for you. She will arrive to the winner packaged the same way I will send all of the products from my shop.
I have been thinking for a long time what would be my first giveaway. I've come up with a few different ideas and some of them will emerge in the coming weeks. The reason I picked this one to go first is because I was so excited about the project going well that I was sewing on her until two in the morning. I have finally finished and now that her photo shoot is over, well here you go.

Some FAQ answers before they come:
What is a giveaway?
Well basically this giveaway has two purposes
1. I wanted so badly to sew a ballerina and give it away. She really was so much fun to make and design.
2. I would like you to tell your friends about my blog or the giveaway in return.
How do I apply to be the lucky winner?
In two very simple steps:
- Tell someone about the giveaway.
- After you have shared the news then comment on this post.
To comment on this post simply click on the post title and leave your comment there. Please only one entry per applicant.
How shall I tell others about the giveaway?
Easy. It could be by word of mouth, short email, or a link from your blog back to mine. Don't stress over it.
What sort of comment should I leave?
Anything will do. It doesn't have to be long. What would you like to see more of on this blog? Any ideas for a tutorial? Feedback would be perfect, but anything will work. If you write something I will know that you have shared the news of a giveaway on my blog and you will have a chance to win.
How will the winner be chosen?
I will enter all of the names into a drawing and pick a winner at random.
When will the winner be announced?
Two weeks from today, November 16th. Please check back on this day. You will have 24 hours to email me at the following address to claim your prize: madebybedtimetales@gmail.com

I really hope anyone who wants to enter does, family, friend, or other, whether you have a little girl around or not. She would be the perfect gift. It's really easy and completely free. If you have any questions send me an email.

Hey BECKY! Long time, no chat. I hope everything is going well, and I'd LOVE to win! I think Sophie would enjoy playing with the ballerina since she enjoys her own tu-tu. I've spread the word on my blog and would love to see your interpretation of sewn play food if you ever get the hankering.

Cute Becky! My girls would love this. It even kind of matches a princess doll they already have! Keep on working on the adorable toys. You're really talented.

p.s. I blogged about it.

Ok. I referred a friend-many friends actually! And now I can enter this contest. Sweet. I think this ballerina is a beautiful doll! And I'm itchin to name her for myself (or for LIna). I agree with curious-cureloms: You should think about making sewn play food. Maybe some that even connects together with velcro?

Thanks girl. Love ya!

I can vouch for Carrie, I was one of the lucky souls she emailed. This is adorable!!

You should think about a cloche hat tutorial. Yup.

Oh, and I tweeted about it here: http://twitter.com/melissapher/status/5383199292

Hi Becky! What a beautiful doll! I am not actually entering (I can't be sure I will be able to respond around that time) but wanted to tell you how beautiful your doll is and how luck the winner will be to have won such a lovely homemade creation.

Oh, she is so sweet, I love that skirt, I think I had one just the same when I was a wee ballerina.

(Oh, I tweeted about you here: http://twitter.com/Katy_Potaty and emailed my Mum!)

Becky,

I think that your arts are amazing. You are very creative and put a lot of work into the things you create. I can tell you're putting your heart into everyone of your toys, and you are doing it for a special reason. Little Ballerina is BEAUTIFUL, and if I'm lucky enough to win her I know my future daughter will enjoy many moments with her. Thank you for giving this opportunity! Keep making beautiful works of art! You are awesome!

Kathryn told me about your blog! What a great idea- so creative. I have a little granddaughter who stands on her stubby little tippy toes. It is amazing how much strength one very little, big toe can muster. Maybe she too, will dance on it someday!
